Our Approach

01Search Strategy

Our AI SEO consulting identifies how your customers search, where meaningful demand exists and which opportunities are worth pursuing, prioritizing the visibility most likely to influence your business rather than chasing every keyword or ranking.

02Technical SEO

We make sure Google can crawl, index and understand your website, then prioritize the technical improvements that have the greatest impact on visibility and performance.

03Information Architecture

We organize your pages, topics and internal relationships into a clear site structure that helps customers and search systems find your content, understand your expertise and connect what you offer with what they’re searching for.

04AI Search-Led Content Strategy

We turn search demand into customer intelligence, using real questions, problems, objections and buying signals to create useful content that earns visibility and moves customers closer to a decision.

05Content Optimization

We make your existing content work harder by consolidating, expanding, repositioning and restructuring the right pages around search intent, topical relevance and business value.

06Authority & Digital PR

We build authority through credible editorial coverage, relevant references, strategic partnerships and quality backlinks that strengthen your brand’s expertise and credibility.

07UX & Conversion Optimization

Traffic means nothing if your website can’t convert it. We optimize the experience after the click to answer the right questions, sharpen your value, build trust and turn search visibility into real business.

08AI Search Readiness

We strengthen our strategy with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) by making your expertise easier for both Google and AI systems to understand, connect and trust. Through clearer entity relationships, stronger topical architecture, structured information and citation-ready answers, we position your content for visibility wherever search is evolving.

Better Marketing Intelligence

Your Questions, Answered

SEO in the AI search era

What is SEO?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the practice of making your business easier to discover, understand and trust when customers search for the products, services, expertise or solutions you provide.

Modern SEO goes well beyond trying to rank a webpage for a keyword. AI has changed how information can be surfaced, but it has not removed the need for strong, crawlable and authoritative websites.

For businesses, this matters because search still represents high-value demand. People searching for a service, comparing providers or researching a problem are actively expressing intent. The stronger your organic search presence, the more opportunities you have to appear throughout that journey and reduce your dependence on paid acquisition.

Our AI SEO agency treats SEO strategy as a business growth discipline, not a ranking exercise. We connect search demand to the content, website experience and authority your business needs to turn visibility into qualified opportunities.

Is SEO still relevant with AI search?

Yes. SEO is still relevant with AI search because people haven’t stopped searching, the search experience has simply expanded. Google still plays a major role in how people discover businesses, while AI-powered results and conversational tools are creating additional ways to research, compare and evaluate options.

The biggest change is that search is no longer one predictable journey from keyword to ranking to website click. Someone might discover a topic on Google, get an AI-generated summary, research the category through ChatGPT, encounter your brand through a publisher and eventually search for your company by name. In some cases, an AI-generated answer may also satisfy the search without producing an immediate website visit.

That changes what businesses should optimize for and measure. Rankings and organic traffic still matter, but modern SEO also needs to strengthen technical accessibility, search intent, information architecture, topical authority, brand clarity, reputation and the overall website experience. These foundations help Google understand your business and can also support how your information is discovered and interpreted in AI-powered search.

LIVID doesn’t treat AI as a reason to abandon SEO or rename everything Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). We evolve the SEO strategy around how people actually search now while protecting the fundamentals that continue to drive valuable organic demand.

Is AI going to replace Google?

No. AI is very unlikely to replace Google, but it is changing how people use Google and how search itself works. Google is already integrating AI directly into its search experience, while conversational AI tools are creating additional ways for people to discover and research information.

The bigger shift is not Google versus AI. It is the fragmentation of the search journey.

A potential customer might start with a traditional Google search, encounter an AI-generated answer, visit a publisher or forum, ask ChatGPT to compare their options and later return to Google with a branded or high-intent search. Different search environments can play different roles depending on what someone is trying to accomplish.

For businesses, this means abandoning SEO to focus entirely on AI optimization would be premature. Google remains an important source of search demand, particularly when people are actively researching products, services and providers. But optimizing exclusively for traditional rankings also gives an increasingly incomplete picture of how customers discover and evaluate brands.

Our AI SEO consulting company combines SEO and GEO strategies together to maintain strong Google visibility while creating the technical, content and authority foundations that help a brand remain discoverable as AI becomes more integrated into search.

What’s the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO and GEO are closely related, but they are not the same discipline. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) improves your organic visibility when people search, while Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) focuses specifically on improving how your brand, expertise and content are understood, surfaced and potentially cited by generative AI systems.

SEO has the broader remit. It connects search demand with technical accessibility, information architecture, content, authority, user experience and conversion. GEO builds on many of those foundations but looks more specifically at generative discovery such as whether AI systems can clearly understand your brand and expertise, retrieve useful information from your content and associate your business with relevant topics.

There is significant overlap between the two. Strong site architecture, authoritative content, clear entity relationships, credible external references and well-structured information can support both traditional search visibility and AI discovery. But GEO also introduces considerations that deserve their own strategy, measurement and optimization.

You don’t need to choose between SEO and GEO. Strong SEO builds the search foundation while GEO extends that strategy into the growing world of generative discovery. LIVID provides both.

Do we need GEO instead of SEO?

No, GEO should never replace SEO. It is possible to gain some visibility in generative AI results even when your SEO performance is weak, but relying on GEO alone while neglecting SEO creates a fragile foundation for organic visibility.

SEO and GEO overlap considerably, but they are not identical. A website does not necessarily need to rank on page one of Google for every relevant keyword before it can be mentioned or cited by an AI system. Generative systems may discover information from your website as well as third-party sources that establish your brand’s relevance and authority. So yes, a company with weak Google rankings can still earn meaningful AI visibility.

But there’s an important distinction between weak rankings and weak SEO foundations.

If your website has poor crawlability, confusing information architecture, thin or unclear content and weak signals around what your company actually does, GEO becomes considerably harder. ChatGPT Search, for example, requires sites to allow its search crawler for content to be eligible to appear in summaries and citations, while Google explicitly says existing SEO best practices remain relevant to its generative AI search Overview features.

That’s why LIVID doesn’t treat this as SEO vs GEO. Our AI SEO strategy incorporates GEO principles where the disciplines overlap, while our dedicated GEO service goes deeper into generative discovery, brand representation and AI visibility.

Do Google rankings still matter in the AI search era?

Yes. Google rankings still matter in the AI search era because high organic positions continue to create visibility, traffic and access to people actively searching for products, services and solutions. What has changed is that rankings are no longer the only way to understand your search visibility.

Google itself is evolving. Traditional organic results now coexist with AI-generated answers, maps, videos, forums, rich results and other search features. At the same time, customers may move between Google, AI tools and other platforms before making a decision. Ranking highly for commercially relevant searches therefore remains valuable, but it represents one part of a much larger discovery journey.

The key is what you rank for. Ranking #1 for a high-volume keyword that has little connection to your business can be far less valuable than ranking for a smaller set of searches made by people actively evaluating solutions like yours. SEO should connect rankings to search intent, qualified traffic, leads and revenue rather than treating position improvements as the end goal.

Our AI SEO agency still tracks and improves rankings because they tell us where a brand is gaining or losing visibility. But we evaluate them alongside broader organic visibility, traffic quality, conversions, branded demand and emerging AI search behavior.

Is AI reducing organic traffic?

Yes. AI is reducing organic traffic for some searches, particularly informational queries that can be answered directly within an AI-generated response. But that doesn’t mean AI is eliminating organic search traffic or making SEO less valuable. It is changing which searches generate clicks and what those clicks are worth.

Traditionally, someone searching a question often needed to visit a website to get the answer. Today, Google AI Overview and conversational AI tools can sometimes provide that information immediately. This creates more zero-click searches, where the search journey progresses without an immediate website visit.

But not every search can be resolved with an AI-generated answer. People still need to research complex decisions, compare providers, evaluate expertise, review products and services and ultimately engage with businesses. In those situations, the website remains an important part of the journey.

The bigger implication is that organic traffic alone is becoming a less complete measure of SEO performance in the AI search era. A business could lose low-value informational clicks while maintaining or potentially increasing visibility among people with stronger commercial intent. Brand mentions, branded searches, qualified organic traffic, leads, assisted conversions and revenue therefore become increasingly important alongside rankings and total traffic. So yes, AI may reduce some of your organic clicks. The smarter response isn’t chasing the traffic that disappeared, it’s making the traffic and visibility you earn more valuable.

Our AI SEO consulting service focuses less on generating the largest possible traffic number and more on understanding which search opportunities can actually influence your business.

Are zero-click searches bad for SEO?

No. Zero-click searches are not automatically bad for SEO. They mean a searcher received enough information from the search experience that they didn’t immediately visit a website. What matters is whether that visibility contributes to awareness, consideration and eventually a business outcome.

Zero-click behavior isn’t new. Google has answered certain searches directly for years through featured snippets, knowledge panels, maps and other search features. AI-generated answers are expanding that behavior by resolving more complex questions directly within the search experience.

For your business, this changes how SEO performance should be interpreted.

If someone sees your brand referenced in Google AI Overview, learns something from your content and later searches your company by name, the original search may have influenced the customer journey even though it never produced an organic click. At the same time, impressions without meaningful brand exposure or commercial influence shouldn’t suddenly be treated as success simply because clicks are declining.

That’s why traffic still matters, but context matters more. We need to distinguish between losing low-value informational clicks and losing qualified visitors who could become customers.

LIVID looks beyond total organic traffic to understand rankings, search visibility, branded demand, qualified visits, conversions and revenue. The goal isn’t to manufacture a positive story around fewer clicks. It’s to understand whether search is actually helping the business.

Can SEO help us appear in AI-generated answers?

Yes. Strong SEO strategies improve the foundations that help your brand and content appear in AI-generated answers.

AI-powered search systems need to discover, understand and evaluate information before they can surface it. Many of the fundamentals that support traditional SEO also support this process, such as crawlable pages, clear site architecture, authoritative content, structured information, strong topical relationships and credible references to your brand elsewhere on the web.

The difference is that earning a traditional ranking and appearing in an AI-generated answer aren’t exactly the same thing. AI systems may synthesize information from multiple sources rather than simply presenting a ranked list of webpages. This means a business can potentially gain AI visibility even when it doesn’t hold the #1 Google position, and strong rankings alone don’t guarantee AI citations.

Our AI SEO agency integrated Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies into our SEO service. We strengthen the technical, content and authority foundations that support both traditional search and emerging AI discovery. For businesses that want to pursue AI visibility more aggressively, we also offer a dedicated GEO service focused specifically on how brands are understood, represented and surfaced across generative search experiences.

SEO gives AI systems stronger information to discover and understand. GEO takes the next step by deliberately optimizing for generative discovery, which is why the two strategies work best together, rather than competing with each other.

How we work

How long does SEO take?

SEO typically takes 3-6 months to show meaningful momentum, while more competitive growth goals can take 6-12 months or longer. There is no universal timeline because SEO performance depends heavily on where your website is starting and what you are trying to achieve.

An established website with strong authority, solid technical foundations and existing content may see improvements relatively quickly. A newer website competing in a difficult market may need significantly more time to build the content, authority and search presence required to compete. Technical problems, site architecture, competition, content quality, backlink profile and available resources can all affect the timeline.

It’s also important to distinguish early progress from mature SEO results. Technical fixes can improve crawling and indexation relatively quickly. Existing pages may gain rankings within months. Building substantial visibility for highly competitive commercial searches can take considerably longer.

That’s why our AI SEO agency is very cautious to never promise first-page rankings or AI visibility within a fixed timeframe. SEO doesn’t work on your business or the agency’s production schedule.

At LIVID, we start our AI SEO service by establishing a baseline, identify the highest-impact opportunities and measure progress across rankings, qualified organic traffic, conversions and business outcomes. As the data comes in, we continuously refine the strategy rather than waiting twelve months to decide whether it’s working.

SEO takes time because you’re building an organic acquisition asset, not renting visibility like PPC. The goal isn’t to rank quickly at any cost, it’s to build search visibility that compounds in value over time.

How do you measure SEO success?

We measure SEO success by whether organic search is creating meaningful visibility, qualified traffic and business outcomes for you.

The right measurement framework depends on what SEO is supposed to achieve for your business. We typically look across several layers, such as search visibility and relevant keyword rankings, organic traffic quality, engagement, conversions, qualified leads and ultimately revenue or pipeline influenced by organic search. We also pay attention to branded search demand and how different landing pages contribute to your customer journey.

AI search makes this broader measurement even more important. A potential customer may encounter your brand in an AI-powered search experience, continue researching elsewhere and later return through a branded Google search or direct visit. That makes last-click attribution increasingly inadequate for understanding the full influence of search.

Our AI SEO agency establishes meaningful KPIs around your actual business objectives before deciding what success looks like. LIVID connects SEO performance to the outcomes leadership actually cares about instead of burying everyone in a monthly report full of impressive-looking numbers.

The goal isn’t more rankings, traffic or impressions for their own sake. It’s more of the right people finding you, choosing you and ultimately contributing to your company’s growth.

Do we need to publish more content?

Yes and no. The goal is to have the right content, covering the topics, questions and search intent that matter to your customers and business.

Many websites already have plenty of content, but most of them may be outdated, repetitive, poorly organized or disconnected from any meaningful AI SEO strategy. Publishing another ten blog posts can actually make things messier if multiple pages compete for the same searches or important expertise is scattered across the website without clear relationships between topics.

This becomes even more important as search evolves. Google and AI systems need to understand not only individual pages, but also what your business knows, what it does and how its information fits together. A smaller, well-structured body of authoritative content can therefore be more valuable than hundreds of loosely related articles.

Our AI SEO service doesn’t start with an arbitrary content quota. We evaluate what you already have, what your audience is searching for and where genuine gaps exist. Some pages may need to be expanded. Others should be consolidated, repositioned or removed. And when new content is necessary, there should be a clear strategic reason for creating it.

More content isn’t the strategy. Building the right body of content and making every useful page work harder is.

Can you optimize our existing content?

Yes. If your website already has the expertise and information your audience needs and it just isn’t structured, positioned or performing as effectively as it could, then optimizing existing content can be one of the most valuable parts of an AI search strategy.

Our AI SEO consulting agency evaluates what you already have against what your audience is actually searching for, how well each page satisfies search intent and where genuine content gaps exist. We also look at how pages relate to one another, whether multiple pages are competing for the same searches and whether important topics are buried within a website structure that makes them difficult for people and Google to discover.

From there, the right action depends on the page. Some content may need to be expanded with greater depth or clearer answers. Other pages may perform better when consolidated, repositioned or restructured. And sometimes content that no longer serves a meaningful purpose should simply be removed.

This is increasingly important in AI-powered search. Clear, well-organized content and strong relationships between related topics can make your expertise easier for both traditional search engines and AI systems to understand and retrieve.

At LIVID, we don’t recommend creating new content simply to fill a publishing calendar. We make your existing content work harder first, then create something new when there is a genuine strategic opportunity.

Do backlinks still matter?

Yes. Backlinks still matter for SEO in the AI search era, but quality, relevance and credibility matter far more than simply accumulating as many links as possible. A backlink is a link from another website to yours, and relevant links can help search engines understand the authority, reputation and context surrounding your website.

The outdated approach to link building was largely a numbers game. Modern SEO is more nuanced. A credible editorial mention from a respected publication or relevant industry website can carry far more strategic value than dozens of links from unrelated or low-quality sites.

Backlinks also matter beyond traditional Google rankings. Search engines and AI systems don’t understand your business solely through what you say about yourself. Independent references across the web can reinforce who your brand is, what it does and what subjects it is associated with. That makes digital PR, editorial coverage and credible third-party mentions increasingly relevant to broader search visibility.

However, our AI SEO service doesn’t treat link building as a monthly quota. We first make sure your technical and content foundations deserve authority, then identify opportunities to strengthen them through relevant backlinks, editorial relationships, digital PR and credible brand mentions when necessary.

Because ultimately, the goal isn’t to build the biggest backlink profile. It’s to build the right reputation around your brand, one that search engines, AI systems and, most importantly, potential customers have reason to trust.

What is technical SEO? Is it important in this AI Search era?

Technical SEO ensures your website can be efficiently discovered, crawled, rendered, understood and indexed by search engines and AI systems. It creates the technical foundation that allows your content and expertise to become visible in organic search in the first place.

It covers areas such as crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, page performance, canonicalization, redirects and structured data. In simple terms, technical SEO helps search engines understand what exists on your website, which pages matter and how those pages relate to one another.

That technical foundation becomes even more important as AI changes search. AI-powered search experiences still depend on information that systems can access, interpret and cite. Great content doesn’t create much search value if it’s buried behind poor architecture, difficult to crawl, incorrectly indexed or disconnected from the rest of your expertise.

This is also why technical SEO isn’t just about fixing errors in an audit. LIVID looks at how the technical structure supports the larger AI search strategy, such as whether important pages are discoverable, whether related topics are properly connected and whether search engines and AI systems can clearly understand the hierarchy and context of your website. Technical priorities should ultimately support visibility and business growth, not simply produce a perfect technical score.

Why isn’t our current SEO generating leads?

There isn’t one universal reason. SEO can fail to generate leads for dozens of reasons, and the real issue is different for every website. The problem could be the strategy, technical foundation, rankings, search intent, content, authority, user experience, conversion journey or several of them working against each other.

You may not have enough visibility for the searches that actually matter. You could be ranking well, but for keywords with little commercial value. Technical or site architecture issues might be limiting important pages. Your content may attract the wrong audience, competitors may have significantly stronger authority or potential customers may be finding you but leaving because the website is confusing or doesn’t give them enough reason to take the next step.

Sometimes the SEO itself is working and the problem is conversion. Sometimes the website converts well but simply isn’t attracting enough qualified organic demand. And sometimes the measurement is incomplete, so SEO is influencing leads without receiving proper attribution.

That’s why LIVID doesn’t diagnose SEO performance from rankings or traffic alone. We look at the entire search ecosystem around your business, from technical SEO and search demand to content, authority, UX, conversions and measurement to identify where the actual constraint exists.

Working with LIVID

We already run PPC. Why invest in SEO?

PPC and SEO serve different purposes, and a strong search strategy often needs both. PPC gives you immediate paid visibility, while SEO builds organic visibility and authority that can continue creating value without paying for every click.

That distinction is becoming even more important as Google changes. AI Overviews can now occupy significant space within search results, and paid ads may appear above, below or even within those AI-generated experiences depending on the query. In other words, paying for search visibility doesn’t necessarily mean your ad will always be the first thing a customer sees.

Modern SEO gives your business more ways to participate in that evolving search experience. Strong organic content can rank traditionally and, when relevant, be surfaced as supporting information within AI-powered results. Google itself reports links from AI Overviews as organic impressions and clicks.

PPC still has enormous value. It can generate demand quickly, target high-value searches and provide useful data about which queries and messaging convert. SEO complements it by building the technical foundation, content and authority behind your organic presence over time.

LIVID doesn’t approach this as SEO versus PPC. We look at how both channels can work together so paid media doesn’t have to carry the entire weight of your search acquisition.

We already have an in-house marketing team. Can you work with them?

Yes. We regularly work alongside in-house marketing teams. Your internal team brings deep knowledge of your business, customers, products and brand. We bring specialized SEO expertise, an outside perspective and experience across technical SEO, content strategy, authority, conversion and AI-powered search. Our AI SEO agency adapts our role around the capabilities you already have.

How much should we invest in SEO?

There is no universal SEO budget that makes sense for every business. The right investment depends on your starting point, competitive landscape, growth goals, website complexity and how much work is actually required to create meaningful organic growth.

That’s why we’re cautious about prescribing a monthly number before understanding the opportunity. A cheaper SEO program isn’t necessarily more efficient if it spreads the budget across low-impact activities. At the same time, spending more doesn’t automatically produce better results if there isn’t a clear strategy behind the investment.

LIVID starts by understanding your business objectives, current search performance, competition and existing resources. We then identify where the biggest opportunities and constraints are before recommending the scope and investment required.

Is LIVID the right AI SEO agency for us?

LIVID is likely a strong fit if you see SEO as a long-term business strategy rather than a quick way to generate leads. SEO absolutely can become a powerful source of qualified demand, but building meaningful organic visibility takes strategy, consistency and time.

We work best with companies that want to understand how search can contribute to their broader growth, not simply how quickly an agency can push a handful of keywords up the rankings or show up in Google AI Overview. Maybe you already have content, technical resources and marketing activity, but they aren’t connected by a coherent search strategy. Or perhaps search has changed around you and you need to understand how traditional SEO, AI-powered search and increasingly fragmented customer journeys fit together.

Our approach brings together SEO strategy, technical expertise, content, authority, UX, conversion and AI search knowledge. We can work directly with leadership or alongside your existing marketing, content and development teams, depending on where you need us most.

But we’re deliberately not the right agency for everyone. If you’re looking for guaranteed rankings or AI mentions, hundreds of cheap backlinks, mass-produced AI content or an overnight source of leads, we’re definitely not your people.

LIVID believes that the best SEO partnerships aren’t built around quick wins and promises. They’re built around a shared understanding of where the business wants to go, what search can realistically contribute and the strategy required to get there.

Search has Changed. Your SEO Strategy Should Too.
